Who I am
Hi, I'm Christopher Ament.
For years, I built things and made art, searching for that elusive feeling of being fully realized. I found it in code.
There's an intoxicating energy in being around someone who is doing exactly what they're meant to do. For me, that moment of clarity arrived not in a studio, but at a keyboard. The logic, the creativity, the act of building from nothing—it was the missing piece. Nothing has ever felt more right.
Now, as a full-stack developer, I channel that certainty into crafting clean, purposeful web applications. When I'm not coding, I'm still creating—usually as a musician and audio engineer, or enjoying the beautiful chaos of being a husband and father.
